A solemn ceremony of signing a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between the Cherkasy Regional State Administration and the International Charitable Foundation “Public Health Alliance” took place on November 27.
The event was attended by government officials, medical institutions and non-governmental organizations working in the field of assistance to people living with HIV.
“I want to first of all thank the regional authorities, because the result of our cooperation is already showing its effectiveness and it can not but rejoice. One such positive change is the introduction of a social worker in the AIDS center and changes in the regional targeted program “Care” to fund HIV prevention services among injecting drug users.
